WiiCade Wii Remote API

??????WiiCade has just released a software interface that provides Flash programs with the ability to read and access the features of the Nintendo Wii Remote controller when they are run on the Internet Channel web browser. They have even released the source code for download so all Flash game developers can now make their games compatible with the WiiMote. The API currently supports upto 4 WiiMotes and Nunchuks, although the thumbstick is not currently supported, but I’m sure it is in the works. Keep an eye on WiiCade Labs for more updates to come.

  4. CafePress: This plugin brings together the CafePress API, WordPress and the PrestoGifto API to allow you to layout your products, adjust thumbnail sizes, pick colors, fonts and more. Not related…Digital Cable TV soon to be open to “Testers”.

According to the Article on Yahoo!, by July 1st the cable companies are going to be forced to use a “cable card ” system like in Tivo. What will hopefully happen is that someone somewhere will be able to “hack” the card and with a little extra equipment can rewrite the card, essentially opening up the subscriptions.

MiiMall.com

MiiMall.com offers a software download that allows you to transfer Miis created on the Wii system or with a web app that they have linked on their home page. The software uses Bluetooth technology which is the way the Wiimote transmits. So if your computer is not capable of using Bluetooth then this may not be the application for you. Find your Wii Number

Finding your 16 digit Wii Number is quite difficult if you are not familiar with the system. The first thing you need to do is click on the little envelope in the blue ring at the lower right hand corner of the screen. Once you are in the Message Board, click on the icon for “Create Message” (second icon at lower left corner). Three large icons now appear in the middle of the screen. The one to the right is your “Address Book“, click on it. A list shows up with all of your contacts here, if you have added any. If you have not added anyone to the contact list, your name is the only that appears. What you need to do is click on the blue arrow on the left side of the screen. The “Address Book” cover page flips forward showing you the console’s Wii Number.
